Audiobook Narration
|

At the age of 7 I told my parents I wanted to be an actor, and I still haven’t “grown out of it”. I’m a Yale School of Drama grad and I’ve worked in film, TV, Web series, Broadway, Off-Broadway and now audiobooks; basically I’ve done every kind of acting there is except porn and cruise ships, lol.
Listening to audiobooks got me through many a hard time in my life; narrating them is my delight. I worship writers and honor their stories. I believe a good storyteller can change the world. I also teach acting, paint, bake bread, run, and laugh like an idiot at stand-up comedy.
Testimonials:
"An amazingly talented actress and voice-over artist, Becky London has created a short and haunting audio file from a chapter in The Potrero Complex, which you can listen to here. Becky brings each voice to life in a unique way. She imbues the main character, Rags Goldner, with edgy curiosity, while the other woman in the scene, Evelyn Rutter, exudes the pain and heartbreak that stems from her daughter's disappearance. I felt the characters' various needs and struggles as I wrote. But hearing their pain and longing voiced out loud...well, there's nothing like it. I'm so grateful to Becky for making this audio masterpiece." -- Amy L. Bernstein, author
"Becky's voice can be cultured and graceful, or crisp and high status and domineering, or softly purring and sensuous, or low-toned aggressive and dangerous and ballsy, or lifted and softly delicate and innocent...Becky has range. Her cadence and timing for comedy is impeccable, her phrasing and word coloring touches your heart and tells the story that needs telling. Her voice has variety and is infinitely expressive. She is one of those rare actors who has control over her vocal instrument and its amazing range while also remaining utterly honest, authentic and real.” -- Eileen Connelly, master voice teacher/director
“When Becky narrates, she becomes the character and suddenly the words have immediacy – they pull you in and you become engaged.” – Pun Bandhu, narrator/Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winning producer.
